Thank you Joe Biden for pointing out that you can be pro-life personally but pro-choice politically. The country needed to hear that.
I didn’t watch the debate, but I don’t quite understand how someone could be pro-life personally and pro-choice politically. Does he mean that he and his family would not get an abortion personally, but support the choice of other people to get abortions? Because that right there is “pro-choice.” Is he equating “pro-choice” with “pro-abortion”? Because most people who are “pro-choice” are not “pro-abortion.” They only want the option for abortion available (not mandatory) in the event of an unplanned (and even planned) pregnancies.
I appreciate the support for politically supporting “pro-choice” legislation, but kinda confused.
Can someone enlighten me?
